Trudging along with the writing. I decided to procrastinate take a well-deserved mental break and check my myspace page. There, I found several new comments from people who'd just read either COYOTE DREAMS or HEART OF STONE and who were really enjoying them.

I guess that kinda makes the trudge worthwhile. *beams*

I was in line at Borders Bookstore, waiting with the horde for the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." I decided to buy a book to read as I waited... [and] "Urban Shaman" called to me. Up: one of the guys at the OxFam shop turns out to be a real comic book geek. We had a good time talking today. There were 7 of us on, and about, oh, 7 customers all morning. I also brought the same guy a copy of COYOTE DREAMS, and another guy who's new in today was Terribly Impressed to meet a Real Writer. I've never met anybody as impressed ( Read more... )

Wow. I just got the most incredible fan mail from a woman who read COYOTE last night. The idea of everyone having an inner garden really resonated with her, and she sat down and had a think about what her own might be like, and wrote this beautiful, evocative description and sent it to me, and I'm just ... *wow*. *Wow ( Read more... )
